I am in bibliophile heaven. So many stories, so much to read! My bookmarks floweth over, and I'm set to spend a few happy hours diving in.

This place is like my own little corner of Paradise.

I am notoriously slow on the uptake. It didn't occur to me until just now that it looks suspect for a "newbie" to be joining communities willy-nilly.

I'm getting there... so far, so good. I found so many communities I remember from yesteryear that are still active, and oodles of new ones. Went on a bit of a joining spree. I do like oddships. Crossovers and AUs are particular favorites.

Hello to anyone who might be looking. :-) I'm starting a journal for fan-related material only -- fic, icons, etc. I have another LJ, but I'd like to keep the two separated for now.

I don't know how often I'll make posts of my own unless I do start trying some fic of my own.

Right now I'm getting set up. I'm joining communities, loading userpics, all that good stuff.
